November 2015

Becoming Me will be screened at The 57th Nordische Filmtage in Lübeck Germany, The Northern Film Festival in Leeuwarden Netherlands and The 34th Oulu International Children’s and Youth Film Festival in Finland. The film will also be screened on TV1 (dokumenttiprojekti) on Mon 23.11. in Finland.

October 2015

The schoolscreenings of Becoming Me will be taken place in Jyväskylä on weeks 43 – 44 and in Vantaa (Flamingo) on Mon 26.10. Vive la France, co-produced by Avanton Productions, won the Compétition Pacifique / Bernheim Library award for the best Pacific full
length film at The 9th Edition of the Ânûû-rû Âboron Film Festival in New Caledonia.

September 2015

Becoming Me -screenings at the cinema in Leppävaara, Espoo (Finnkino Sello) between18th-24th September. There will also be the screenings for pupils and students in Kuopio on 23rd September. The screenings are hosted by Kuopio Film Festival – Kuopion Vilimit. In Helsinki there will be one special screening at Kino Sheryl (Arabiankatu 8) on Tuesday 29th September at 19:30! The director Mina Laamo will be present at the screenings in Kuopion and Helsinki!

June 2015

Becoming Me will be screened at the European ARTE-tv-channel on 9th June! The film will also be screened at Institut Finlandais in Paris, France on 23rd June!

April 2015

Becoming Me will be screened on Wed 22nd April at 19 (45 Special) at Oulu Doc Lounge and will be released at cinemas on Fri 24th April in Helsinki, Tampere, Vaasa, Lahti and Sotkamo! Other cities will be announced later!

Blood Sisters, directed by Malin Andersson and co-produced by Avanton, will be screened at Hot Docs Festival in Toronto, Canada!

March 2015

Becoming me is taking part of the national competition at Tampere Film Festival. The sceening will be held on Thu 5.3. at 18 (Plevna 2). The film will also be screened at Millenium International Documentary Film Festival in Brussels, Belgium. Becoming Me also at Doc Lounge Tampere 24.3.2015 at 19:00, Klubi / Tampere, Finland.

Vive la France is participating the competition at One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival in Czech Republic.

Five Star Existence is taking part of the competition at BIFED 2014 – film festival in Bozcaada, Turkey.

Vive la France will be screened at the Chicago International Film Festival and Reykjavik International Film Festival in Iceland. Vive la France won a Special Mention Award at Pariscience – International Science Film Festival in France.

Five Star Existence won the Jury Prize in the Human Image Competition at the BIFF Baghdad International Film Festival in Iraq.
Five Star Existence is sreened at the Finnish Film Days in Budapest, Kaohsiung Film Festival in Taiwan and NORDOX – Nordic Documentary Film Festival in Beijing.
Forever Yours is competing for the award of the Best European TV Documentary of the year 2012 at PRIX EUROPE 2012 in Berlin.
Helping Mihaela will be seen at Astra Film Festival – the International Documentary Film Festival in Sibiu, Romania.

Forever Yours won the prizes for the Best Documentary as well as the Best Cinematography at the Saratov International Film Festival in Russia.
Five Star Existence is screened at the LOVE & ANARCHY International Film Festival in Helsinki and Doc-Sampo Documentary Film Festival in Riihimäki, Finland.
